Keva

Metadata-rich object storage for people, applications, and AI agents.

I built Keva to give files a shared home across a web app, an API, and an MCP server. Files could carry custom properties, appear in saved views, and be shared with other people or accessed by agents.

I stopped maintaining the project. This page preserves the interface and source code without keeping a hosted app running.

What I built

  • A file library with list and grid layouts, previews, custom properties, metadata queries, and saved views.
  • File sharing, API tokens, and an OAuth-authorized MCP server for agent clients.
  • A React frontend and Hono API, with TypeScript, Effect, Postgres, and S3-compatible object storage.
  • Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects, Hyperdrive, and Containers for the hosted app and media processing.

Screenshots

App screenshots were captured locally with a separate demo account and sample files. The landing page is preserved from its existing build. No customer files or account details are shown.
